Inside the World of Aviation
Go beyond the cockpit and discover what a future in aviation could look like — from how pilots train and qualify to aircraft technology, helicopter flight and aviation degree pathways.
About the Camp
The program is an exclusive collaboration between Sol Camps and the National Flight Centre. The program comprises an introductory flight lesson and associated briefings from the Private Pilot Licence (PPL) course, plus 2 hours in a glass cockpit simulator — configurable for three aircraft classes: single engine piston, twin engine piston, and medium category twin jet. Upon completion, campers receive the wearable NFC Wings Badge.
Your Aviation Experience
- Take your first introductory flight lesson in a Cessna aircraft.
- Complete 2 hours of professional flight simulator training (single engine piston, twin engine piston, or twin jet).
- Join 7 hours of interactive aviation talks and pilot briefings.
- Explore aircraft controls, procedures and flight techniques.
- Discover the pathway from first flight to professional pilot.
- Earn the wearable NFC Wings Badge on completion.

The Teen Aviation Academy gives students hands-on experience flying a light aircraft, building a full understanding of how to obtain a Private Pilot's Licence and train to become an airline pilot. It's a taster for anyone considering a career in aviation.
