The Activities Program
The activities’ program designed for this age group is aimed at getting the best out of this experience. Because this age group is particular we have build a program that will have the students as the main focus of the activity, rather than us having the activity all planned. So, apart from students participating in the different excursions and visiting exciting and world renowned attractions such as Niagara Falls, the CN tower, watching a baseball game, visiting the Royal Ontario Museum the students will also be part of projects. We have build group and individual project ideas that the students are invited together with their friends from other countries to complete. Whether that is doing research, interviewing university staff, selling ice-cream on the streets, participating in charity events or others it will be up to them to decide how to do it, who the project manager will be and other details. This will empower the student to spend the time doing it the way they want and showing their talents their way.
In 2012 we are continuing the tradition of bringing students back for FREE as an apprentice. They will not only have the opportunity to enjoy a better program but also help the new students through their experience. In 2012 it will be the turn of Hector and Olivia to be the first ones to enjoy this new tradition. The activities program runs everyday from Monday to Sunday after school hours.
